Thermal Imaging Sessions Regularly Scheduled on:

Tuesdays and Fridays -- 9 am to 5 pm* 

*Other appointments available to accomodate including Saturdays

What should you expect during your visit?
The imaging procedure only takes about 20 minutes. Our lab has a curtain between you and the technician to ensure privacy. You will first change into a gown. You will then be instructed to disrobe from the waist up to normalize with the room temperature. Then a series of 8 images is captured from various angles. You’ll then place your hand in ice mittens for one minute to perform the “Cold Challenge.” Then, a second series of 3 images is taken. Then you’re done! A total of 11 views is taken, making MIT the most complete imaging center in Michigan.
